tesa® 4288 is a conventional strapping tape with tensilized polypropylene backing. The rubber adhesive system provides high initial tack to both polar and non-polar surfaces. The mono-oriented polypropylene backing exhibits high conformability, good tensile strength, and low elongation. This allows high performance in medium-duty bundling, palletizing, and coil tabbing applications. With effortless dispensing, our tape accommodates both manual and automatic operations, making it the go-to choice for streamlined packaging processes.

The soft PVC film coated tape is plasticized and stabilized, with a one-sided coating of rubber-based, pressure-sensitive adhesives. It is UL listed and has a matte finish, making it ideal for electrical insulation. This tape is used for joining and splicing wires and cables, with a maximum voltage of 600V or temperature of 80°C (176°F). It is suitable for all applications requiring UL listed insulating materials.
